Who is Darren Hayes?
If the name doesn't ring a bell his music surely ought to. I guess you're more likely to recognize him if I tell you that he used to be lead singer in the Australian supergroup Savage Garden. We are talking about the Brisbane duo who sold more than 20 million albums worldwide in four years. They are responsible for a ton of brilliant pop hits such as 'Truly Madly Deeply', 'I Knew I Loved You', 'The Animal Song' and many many more...

His first solo album 'Spin' racked up close to two million sales and produced four singles: 'Insatiable', 'Strange relationship', 'I miss you' och 'Crush (1980 me).

On his second solo album, 'The Tension and The Spark', Hayes dropped Savage Garden's soft pop/rock pretensions for a more electronic sound. Teaming up with hardcore underground electronic artist Robert Conley resulted in a #1 hit single (Popu!ar) on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play.
